  1. Used to is used to talk nigh habitual or regular actions or states in the past that are now finished.
    • I used to have a dog. (I had a domestic dog in the by but I don't have a domestic dog now)
    • I used to play football every weekend only I don't have time at present.

    • I didn't use to like action films, but I love them now.
    • I never used to like spinach. (but at present I eat it every mean solar day)
  2. Would is also used to talk about habitual actions in the past, but non to talk about past states.
    • When I was young I used to go fishing with my male parent every summer. (right)
      When I was young I would become fishing with my father every summer. (right)
    • She used to take a house in the land. (correct)
      She would accept a business firm in the land. (incorrect)

So I enquire them to go around the class and talk with their classmates. They can introduce themselves (new identity) and talk about their by identity. For example," I'm a teacher, but I used to be a business concern person." They can also inquire questions.

  5. I enquire students to describe a pic of themselves 5 years ago and at present. But, before that, I evidence them my own drawings so they can express joy a little and through this, they feel motivated to draw; it doesn't matter if they don't have the power to do it, only like me!
    After they describe their pictures, I explain to them what my activities and routines were 5 years ago, things I used to exercise and that I don't do anymore.
    I have a difficult class and I learned that these kinds of activities are good for them to feel more than secure and to pay attending for more than than 5 minutes.

      – When we say is used to here, information technology is the passive form of the verb "use".

  9. The divergence between used to and would is that would is common in repeated past activity not in state. However used to is both in repeated action and state or situation in the by.
